2014 Department Grant

The Student Government Association Department Grant will provide any Southwestern College department $1000 to improve College student’s educational experience.  SGA will award the SC department which demonstrates a need of the money, whether it be for a new technology device or supplemental funds for a project, as decided by the SGA Senate.  The goal of the Grant is to help enrich the student body and to help meet one or more of Southwestern College’s mission and vision statement.

2014 Campus Improvement Grant

The Student Government Association Campus Improvement Grant will provide any Southwestern College group or organization $1000 to improve the College’s campus.  SGA will award the SC group or organization whose project will best bolster Builder community and improve the campus, as decided by the SGA Senate.  The goal of the Grant is to involve the entire student body and improve the SC campus.

Hazing Agreement Policy & Form

Any student organization wishing to be recognized by SGA must fill this out and return it to the Campus Life Office with the other required materials found on the Student Organization Form.  Read the Hazing Policy.  Then print and sign the last page (Hazing Agreement Form) and submit it with the rest of the Organization Recognition materials.

 

To become a recognized organization for the 2013-2014 school year all forms must be completed and returned to the SGA Office in Campus Life by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29th, 2013.

Event Approval Form

Any SGA recognized organization must complete an event appoval form to the Campus Life Office for approval of any events the organization wishes to hold on or off campus. 

 

Please read the event approval guidelines carefully, then submit the event approval form to the Office of Campus Life for approval of any event happening through your SGA recognized organization.

Mock Resolution

 Sample allocation request on how to submit a proper request to the SGA Allocations Committee.

 The form must be completed and turned into the SGA Treasurer (jonathon.lyons@sckans.edu). The deadline for this paperwork is 5:00 P.M. on the Saturday prior the Tuesday in which the allocation will be presented to the Student Senate.

SGA Recognized Student Organization Form

Any student organization wishing to be recognized by SGA for the 2012-2013 school year must complete the SGA Recognized Organization Form to the Campus Life Office with all other required materials found on the Student Organization Form.

 

To become a recognized organization for the  Spring 2013 Semester, all forms must be completed and returned to the SGA Office in Campus Life by 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 18,2013

Professional Development Grant

The Student Government Association is offering a $1,000 grant towards a professional development program that will benefit the students of Southwestern College. 

Grant applications are due January 18th by 5:00pm in the Campus Life Office.
