Winfield:

Winfield, Kansas has been billed as one of the "100 Best Small Towns in America." As an SC student, you will learn firsthand why it earned this honor. The city population is 12,000 and is the home of two fortune 500 companies.

Winfield sponsors several yearly celebrations that include Art in the Park, Kanza Days, and the widely known Walnut Valley Festival, which has hosted artists such as Allison Kraus, The Dixie Chicks and Grammy nominated Nickel Creek.

Wichita:

Within 40 minutes, you can be in Kansas' largest city, Wichita. So when you get the urge to see a professional athletic event, you can catch Thunder Hockey, Wrangler Baseball and the Stealth indoor arena football team.

Need a few animals or a splash of culture? Wichita also has the Sedgwick County Zoo, Exploration Place, Wichita Symphony Orchestra, Old Town, Old Cowtown museum, and Joyland Amusement Park.
