Hi, I'm Tommy Castor and I am the Coordinator of Digital Admission Communication here at Southwestern College. Basically, I'm in charge of putting together the communication that you, the prospective student, receive from SC about all the great things that are going on around here. You may get emails, view webpages, watch videos, and read articles that most likely either were produced by me, or by someone else at SC that I'm bringing to you in the hopes that you can see for yourself exactly what SC has to offer! I'm originally from Clearwater, KS and graduated from Southwestern in May of 2008 with my bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis in radio and television performance and production. I'm currently working on my Masters in Business Administration from Southwestern as well. In addition to that, I'm the faculty advisor of Southwestern's radio station, 100.3 The Jinx (KSWC FM). I broadcast all of the football and basketball games for Southwestern along with the voice of the Moundbuilders, Curt Caden. You can check out archived audio and hear games live at www.buildersports.com. I also am an instructor in Communication and teach 2 radio courses at SC. In my spare time, if I have any, I spend time doing radio on the weekends in Wichita. You can hear me on Kissin' Country 102.1 and Channel 963 and I also am a youth leader at Crossroads Community Church in Winfield on Wednesday evenings. I'm also involved in the 9 Lives Laughatorium and Good Times Improvisational Comedy Troupe at Southwestern. We perform improv comedy shows for the campus and the community and if you've ever watched Whose Line is it Anyway, you'd probably enjoy us.
