Winfield, Kan., Nov. 20, 2001-Southwestern College will host a reception for area high school juniors and seniors and their families in the home of President Dick Merriman Sunday, Dec. 2. The come-and-go reception will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 517 E. 35th Ave., Winfield, and is a way for local students and families to learn more about the college.

Information will be available about the majors offered at SC and about activities and scholarship opportunities. President Merriman and current SC students who graduated from Winfield High School will host the event. Refreshments will be served.
