Friday, April 11

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Moundbuilder Market open.

2-3 p.m.  Presentation by Stephen Woodburn, SC associate professor of history, who is the author of a translation of Nikolai Danilevskii's "Russia and Europe: The Slavic World's Political and Cultural Relations with the Germanic-Roman West", Deets Library.  A book signing will follow the presentation.


5:30 p.m.  Leaders in Service Hall of Fame for the Social Sciences unveiling of plaques, Deets Library.

(2014 plaques are on display in the library for persons to view during reception.  Immediately after the induction, new plaques are on display in Mossman in the actual Hall of Fame.)

 

6 p.m.  Leaders in Service Hall of Fame dinner, Deets Library.  $20.  Limited seating, RSVP necessary, call 620-229-6279.

9 a.m.  Dedication of the TOMARI Theatrical Arts and Technologies Center, including tours and a presentation about plans for phase two.  The center is located just east of White PE building on Warren Street.

 

10:30 a.m.  Fine Arts Hall of Fame reception, Darbeth Lobby.

 

11 a.m.  Fine Arts Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Messenger Auditorium.
