Emphasis in Performance
Southwestern College now offers the opportunity for graduate students to earn a Master of Arts in Music (Emphasis in Performance).
This 33-hour program provides musicians with the advanced education, skills, and credentials to enhance their professional abilities and opportunities.

- Faculty experts in choral conducting, composition/film score, independent studio enterprise/pedagogy, instrumental performance, and vocal performance.
- Provides a valuable experience by teaching classes at the same time students are applying this information in such fields as community music school, in a performance ensemble, or in a school, studio, or church.

The curriculum is designed with the flexibility to allow each student, in consultation with an advisor, to develop a program that fits the needs and interests of individual students.
