How to check out and download an ebook?

  1. Search for the ebook either in the catalog or in eBook Collection under ebooks.
  2. Click on the "Show Details" link for the title.
  3. Click on Check Out & Download this ebook.
  4. The ebook is now checked out to your account and added to your Checked Out Items.
    • The download information displays, which includes information on the download time and system requirements.
  5. Click on Download this eContent to download the file to your personal computer; or click on Cancel to cancel the download. A download message displays and informs you when the download is completed.
  6. Adobe Reader will open and receive the downloaded document.

You can now transfer the ebook to your Palm OS or Pocket PC handheld device. Note: eBooks should only be downloaded to your personal computer. Do not download to a public computer in your affiliated library.
