Southwestern College Choral Union (SCCU)

SCCU SCCU is a community choral ensemble that offers choral and vocal education and performance opportunities to a broad range of ages (14 and up) and experience levels. SCCU is under new direction this year and we are excited about the growth potential and how that can impact our greater community. Dr. Amanda Li brings a wealth of knowledge and is passionate about bringing excellent choral experiences to our community. Rehearsals nurture the growth of all individuals through one-on-one instruction within the group setting with emphasis on vocal technique, and growth of musicianshp skills. Performances maintain innovative programing, helping to stretch the choral art, community, and members. SCCU believes in strengthening both Southwestern and Winfield's commitment to the fine arts and enhancing our historical choral legacy by bringing music back to the community.

Do you love to sing, miss singing, or just want to learn how to sing?  Are you looking for a “Choir Home”?  We have a place for you in the SCCU. This community-based choir is for all people in the community who love to sing. Whether you are a seasoned veteran singer, need brushing up on your skills, or have never sung before, we invite you to join!
