Southwestern College Professional Studies Recognized in 'G.I. Jobs'

“G.I. Jobs” has announced the release of its 2012 list of Military Friendly Schools. The list honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities, and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America’s veterans as students.

Southwestern College Professional Studies is on the list for the fourth year in a row.

“We strive to make education a reality for our military service members, and are honored to receive this distinction once again,” said Pam Monaco, vice president for Southwestern College Professional Studies.

The list was compiled through research and a survey of more than 8,000 schools nationwide. Methodology, criteria, and weighting for the list were developed with the assistance of an academic advisory committee consisting of educators from schools across the country.
