Photography by 12 Southwestern College students will be on display from Nov. 30 to Dec. 10 in the Deets Library on the campus of Southwestern College.  The photographs were produced during the Introduction to Photography class during the 2012 fall semester. There is no admission charge.

The student photography exhibit opens at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, following the SC Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony held at the bottom of the 77 Steps.

“I’m extremely pleased with the way the students have pushed themselves this semester to master technology in the creative process,” says Stacy Sparks, associate professor of journalism at Southwestern.

Student photographers who are showing their work in the exhibition are Laken Campbell, Maggie Dunning, Kaitlyn Felts, Brodie Forbes, Kelcey Gabriel, Taylor Hallmark, Brittyn Heronemus, Brittany Hills, Casey Holt, April Middleton, Taylor Posey, and Yu Chen.
