Tickets Still Available for Upcoming John McCutcheon Concert at Southwestern College

McCutcheonTickets are still available for the upcoming John McCutcheon concert on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m., in the Richardson Performing Arts Center in the Christy Administration Building on the campus of Southwestern College.

“Ticket sales are going very well,” says Jessica Falk, director of camps and conferences at Southwestern College.  “However, I encourage anyone who plans on attending to get their tickets in advance.  Since it is open seating and no reserved seats, those people who have already purchased their tickets will have a better selection of seats than those who will be standing in line waiting to purchase tickets.”

McCutcheon, a Walnut Valley Festival favorite, is a respected and loved folksinger. As an instrumentalist, he is a master of a dozen different traditional instruments, most notably the rare and beautiful hammer dulcimer. His songwriting has been hailed by critics and singers around the globe. His 30 recordings have garnered every imaginable honor including seven Grammy nominations. He has produced over 20 albums of other artists, from traditional fiddlers to contemporary singer-songwriters to educational and documentary works.

Tickets are $22.50 and can be purchased by calling Falk at (620) 229-6141.
