Worship Band Track

CALL TO WORSHIP

Play, sing and record worship songs with a staff of worship pastors and leaders from across the region.

Each student will receive instruction in:

  • All instruments in the worship band
  • Music arrangement
  • Biblical worship
  • Instrument of choice

Each worship band will receive coaching on:

  • Good rehearsal processes
  • Team Bonding
  • Resource development


Faculty

Stephen ButlerStephen Butler, worship band. Butler is a music pastor at First Baptist Church in Arkansas City, Kan. He also writes and arranges cantatas, as well as performs concerts throughout the Midwest.

Allison EbrightAllison Ebright is a graduate of Southwestern College in music performance and for the last several years has been on staff at Church of the Resurrection where she has lead worship, taught and worked with many worship groups including a nationally award winning gospel choir. She currently teaches piano and voice in the Resurrection Music Academy.


Cory RyanCory Ryan is the associate contemporary worship director at Church of the Resurrection and leads in their Vibe service. He works with both young adult and youth worship bands.


Martin RudeMartin Rude finished a MA with The Robert Webber School of Worship Studies after touring internationally for ten years and working on over 15 album projects. Currently, he is the director of Worship Outreach at Southwestern College teaching worship and working with four college praise teams.


Josh MelcherJosh Melcher is a graduate of Southwestern College and helped develop a new coffee house and community ministry in Wichita KS called Meads Corner where he currently works. He has toured and recorded on voice and guitar.


Sarah MillerSarah Miller is also a graduate of Southwestern with extensive experience in worship leading, worship band directing along with experience in many styles of vocal performance and recordings.
