Think
back on your freshman orientation.
Chances are, you sat somewhere while someone read something to you, then you
got up and moved to somewhere else where you sat while someone else read something
to
Fast-forward to Fall Frenzy 2001 at Southwestern College.
It wasn't your orientation.
These 130-odd freshman ran into their orientation through a reception line of
screaming, high-fiving upperclassman, who then led aa conga line of dancing
and mingling.
The uniform of th day was tie-dye, from the president of the college to the
newest enrollee. The music was high-energy, beginning with the Bee-Gees "Stayin'
Alive."
Tie-dye? Bee-Gees? Well maybe it was your orientation.
