Fast-forward to Fall Frenzy 2001 at Southwestern College.
It wasn't your orientation.
These 130-odd freshman ran into their orientation through a reception line of screaming, high-fiving upperclassman, who then led aa conga line of dancing and mingling.
The uniform of th day was tie-dye, from the president of the college to the newest enrollee. The music was high-energy, beginning with the Bee-Gees "Stayin' Alive."
Tie-dye? Bee-Gees? Well maybe it was your orientation.
