Focused Professional Learning:
Using Data to Inform Decisions in Education

February 2015 (date TBA)
Southwestern College - Winfield, KS

As legislation from No Child Left Behind to Common Core brings pressure to meet performance benchmarks, educators are struggling to build the best learning environments for their students. Effective school leaders rely on data as well as experience to make the best decisions concerning use of resources as they work toward improving learning and avoiding potential problems in the way of student success.

This one-day symposium focuses on using data effectively to make collaborative decisions—decisions that lead to curricular change, provide a context for school improvement, and assist with teacher goal setting, professional learning, and evaluation.
