As legislation and accreditors bring higher education providers and PK-12 schools under the same policy umbrella, dialogue across P-20 schools is needed. Surveys with principals and superintends reveal that collaboration is needed in four areas.
This year, the Education Symposium will be on February 12th from 9:00 to 2:00. The cost for the event is $10, which includes a box lunch.
Sessions related to each of the following learning strands:
- Integrating Technology into Instruction
- Assessing Student Performance
- Making Adjustments Based Upon Student Performance
- New Teacher Mentoring

Each session uses a 20-20 format (20 minutes of new content; 20 minutes of discussion; 10 minute wrap up and next steps/opportunities.
