Travel Writing

Are you someone who likes to write? And do you like to travel? If so, then the Travel Writing class may be just for you. Students in this class take many different trips and then meet once a week to discuss how to transform their notes into a travel writing story. The class is taught by Dr. John Scaggs.  The class takes trips throughout the semester.  Students have visited Henry's Candy in Dexter, Kansas, the Wichita Art Museum, and the Cowley County Historical Museum in Winfield.

Students will visit the Hutchinson Salt Museum on February 27, 2010. There are many trips to come! There will be pictures of the trips posted on the English department website.  Don't forget to take a look!
