Rethhorst Leads Moundbuilder Connection Project

Scott Rethorst, a senior with Leadership Southwestern, is the project lead for a new volunteer tracking system at Southwestern College. The program, called Moundbuilder Connection, connects students looking for volunteer opportunities with local organizations in need of volunteers

Throughout the semester, Rethorst has been coordinating efforts between the three service learning teams at Southwestern and Thunder::Tech to create the system. Organizations will be able to post volunteer opportunities on a website and students will then be able to sign-up for the event.
