The Community Music School (CMS) at Southwestern College will be holding spring registration Jan. 3-5 in the Darbeth Fine Arts Lobby from 3- 5 p.m. Students of all ages are welcome to sign up.
A wide variety of private lessons, ensembles, and classes will be offered.
“In the fall of 2010 the CMS had over 40 participants. This spring we are hoping to grow and offer more musical opportunities to the community,” says Melissa Williamson, administrator for the Community Music School.
The mission of the Community Music School at Southwestern College is to nurture the fine arts community of South Central Kansas and North Central Oklahoma with rich musical experiences for people of all ages.
“Our vision is to encourage excellence in the arts by offering a wide array of private lessons, master classes, ensembles, performance opportunities, and more on the campus of Southwestern College,” Williamson says.
