LSAC DiscoverLaw.org PLUS Program at ONU

LSAC DiscoverLaw.org PLUS Program at ONU is made possible by a generous grant from the Law School Admissions Council. It is a four-week immersion into the legal world. The primary goal of the program is to promote diversity in the legal profession and is directed at freshman and sophomores from groups that are underrepresented in the legal profession or face significant financial and familial obstacles in their pursuit of a career in law.

 

The PLUS program will expose you to the fundamental skills necessary to succeed at law school and as a lawyer, offer a comprehensive look at the legal profession and inspire you to pursue a career in law. You will have an opportunity to meet and interact with law school professors, deans, directors, practicing attorneys, judges and community leaders. The program will also give you the tools to navigate through the law school application process. Finally, it will offer several educational and fun outlets and opportunities to travel.

 

Your experience will include:

1. Law school classes

2. A moot court competition

3. Field trips

4. Workshops

5. Panel discussions

6. Receptions and banquets
