Allyson has been a member of the Southwestern College faculty since 1988. Her work as a director and educator has resulted in numerous Meritorious Achievement Awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for both herself and her students. As an actor, director, designer and administrator, she has worked in professional, educational, and community theatres. Educationally, she believes that study in the arts should be mandated for all children at all levels of instruction.
