Mt. Plesant

This school was in exsistance for quiet awhile. In later years, other schools were closed and consolidated into the Mt. PLesant school. During my first grade there we had four students, in the 8th grade after combining schools, we had 16 students. The last teacher there was Mrs. Pansy Coolbauge and was assisted by her sister in law because of the large number of students.
The school house is now gone, some of the playground equiment still remains. The site is on property now owned by my family.
