My greatgrandfather Jacob Doebele was on the original school board when it opened. His name is on the coner stone. His son, Benjamain J. Doebele taught there, even teaching his own children in the early 1900's. I, Bonnie Doebele Nespor was the last teacher when it closed in spring of 1955.
