Support the Symphonies

We are a non-profit organization that relies on student fees, ticket sales, and donations from individuals and businesses. Your contribution will help us purchase new music and equipment, as well as provide educational opportunities for local music students and produce fine performances for music lovers. Donations also help provide scholarships for youth symphony members and additional music resources.

Sponsor a Season Concert or Event

SKS and SCYS rely on the generous support of individual and corporate sponsorships. We are currently seeking sponsors for 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 season concerts and events. Please contact Dr. Peterson to inquire about these opportunities at (620) 229-6113.

Season Donations

The South Kansas Symphony and Southwestern College Youth Symphony have started a new donation system to recognize individuals and businesses who support local orchestral music. We appreciate gifts of any size. Donors will be recognized in symphony and youth symphony concert programs throughout the season. We are a non-profit organization that relies on student fees, ticket sales, and donations. Your contribution will help us purchase new music and equipment, as well as provide educational opportunities for local music students and produce fine performances for music lovers. Donations also help provide scholarships for youth symphony members and additional music resources.

SKS & SCYS Endowments

As non-profit ensembles, the symphonies seeks tax-deductible donations at all levels of giving to provide long-term support. Please contact Southwestern College’s Institutional Advancement about donating to the endowments at (800) 846-1543.

Volunteer

The SKS and SCYS are heavily supported by the generosity of friends volunteering numerous hours throughout the season. Needs include, but are not limited to: musicians, ushers, ticket sellers, and board members. We are appreciative of any time you can provide to advance the arts at SC. Please contact Dr. Peterson at (620) 229-6113 to assist.
