#Skillz Emphasis
In #Skillz campers will have many hands-on opportunities to build music literacy and sharpen fundamental musical skills in a collaborative environment. All ability levels are welcome with no prior music literacy required.

Nikki Kirk
Mrs. Nikki Kirk is a Music Educator in the Arkansas City, KS Public School District where she teaches Kindergarten through 5th grade general music and serves as the Chair of Elementary Music for the district. Nikki’s passion is sharing the power of music with others. She spends her time outside of the school day serving her community as the Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church of Winfield, as an Adjunct Professor of Music Education at Southwestern College, operator of Kirk Music Studio for private music instruction including beginning through adult students, and teaching adapted music lessons for special needs children. Throughout her career Mrs. Kirk has taught general music, band, choir and musical theatre (PreK-Adult) in both Kansas and her home state of West Virginia. She received her BA in Music Education while studying trumpet and voice at Glenville State College (Glenville, WV). Mrs. Kirk has performed at the National Trumpet Competition in Washington, DC and as an instrumental and vocal soloist at educational events in the Eastern and Midwestern regions of the U.S. She is currently active as an adjudicator and clinician throughout the region and resides in Arkansas City, KS with her husband Jeremy, son Clark, and daughter Chloe.
