PRIVATE ROOM REQUESTS (Due March 12th): www.sckans.edu/privateroom

QUAD REQUESTS - Warren quads, Reid quads - 2 bedrooms with 4 students (Due March 26th) www.sckans.edu/quadrequest

DOUBLE REQUESTS - Reid, Sutton, and Broadhurst doubles- 1 bedroom with 2 students (Due April 9thwww.sckans.edu/doublerequest

  • The exact number is required for each type of housing (Ex. 2 students for a double, 4 students for a quad).  If you are looking for roommates, reply to this e-mail and we will create a list of those looking.
  • All roommates must complete a request by the due date.
  • Wallingford and Cole Hall are not available for returning student sign-up.  Sutton is available for private and double requests…but there are only 4 private rooms and 3 double rooms.
  • Placement is determined by GPA & course credits.  Placement confirmation will be emailed a week from each request due date.
  • Students must be 21 years old (by the 1st day of class) & a senior (85 credits) to live off campus (or living with parents within 50 miles of campus).  Please complete an off campus requests by April 9th www.sckans.edu/offcampus

 

Housing and Meal Cost Information


Residential Facility Information
All residence halls and apartments are furnished with beds, dressers, and desks for the default capacity of the room.  College furniture is not to be moved and the college does not store furniture. Students are allowed to bring additional living room furnishings if they wish.


Apartments

WARREN: Two bedroom townhomes with kitchen and 1 ½ baths, housing up to 4 students. Meal plan optional, open during semester breaks and available for summer occupancy. See pictures in the Residence Life Handbook PDF.

HONOR: One bedroom apartment with kitchen and 1 bathroom, housing up to 2 students. Meal plan optional, open during semester breaks and available for summer occupancy. See pictures in the Residence Life Handbook PDF.


Suites

REID: Studio (one student/private bathroom), one bedroom (up to 2 students), and two-bedroom (up to 4 students) suites, 1 bathroom, no kitchen*. Meal plan required. Closed during semester breaks. *Suites without kitchens are not allowed any kitchen appliances with heating elements, except for coffee pots with automatic shut-offs. Residence Halls

BROADHURST: Co-ed living for upperclassmen and transfers. Private and double rooms.  Bathroom shared between two rooms. Meal plan required. Community kitchen available. Closed during semester breaks. See pictures in the Residence Life Handbook PDF.

COLE: Housing for first-year women. Meal plan required. Closed during semester breaks. See pictures in the Residence Life Handbook PDF.

SUTTON: Co-ed living for upperclassmen, transfers, and freshmen overflow. Private and double rooms.  Suites with shared bathroom between two rooms. Meal plan required. Closed during semester breaks. See pictures in the Residence Life Handbook PDF.
