Cultural Arts Festival at Southwestern College Friday and Saturday

Southwestern College will host a Cultural Arts Festival from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, and from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.

Event coordinator and Southwestern College student Raquel Resendiz hopes the event will prompt dialogue between international and domestic students with faculty, staff, and the community.

“It is important to celebrate the differences and similarities between cultures and what better way to do this than through art, since it comes in all shapes and forms,” Resendiz says.

The event will be in four different locations around the Southwestern College campus.
