Nine Lives to Present Evening of Laughter, Surprises, and Science

Southwestern College’s Nine Lives Laughatorium and Good Times Improvisational Comedy Troupe will present, “The 9 Lives Beech Episode 77,” on Friday, April 25, from 9 to 10 p.m. in Messenger Recital Hall in the Darbeth Fine Arts Center.  SC faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend and there is no admission charge.

Inspired by Southwestern College's Beech Science Center, this show promises an evening filled with quick wit, light-hearted science humor, candy, and audience delight. The show will also feature special cameo appearances by members of the Beech Science Center community, including assistant professor of biology Kim Dolphin and Southwestern College senior Nick Strong.

“This show is going to be huge,” says troupe member John Moberly. “Audience members are going to enjoy seeing these incredible educators showcase a side of themselves that's rarely seen. It'll definitely be something special.”

Performers from Nine Lives include Moberly, Jamelle Sanchez, RJ Mader, and Grace Whisenhant.
