Builder JINX Tank - FRIDAY EVENT

Registration - CLOSED

Event - FRIDAY 

Time - 2-3pm

Location - Deets Library

Sign up for this special event where you can showcase your current business or business that is in the idea development stage. You will get a "Booth" to showcase your idea or business. The "Booth" is an 8ft x 8ft x 8ft space consisting of a 6ft table and 2 chairs. You may use this space any way you see fit to showcase your product and services.  This is a tradeshow to showcase your talent as a future business owner. You will be judged on your display and business elevator pitch and the Top 3 Entrepreneurs will be invited to participate in the Vision to Venture Community Entrepreneurship Spring event.

SCORING RUBRICS - Click on the link to read through the competition rubrics. All parts of the competiton are scored. Make sure you are meeting all requirements.

RULES:

• NO open flames or any other combustable items.
• Booths must be kept clean and presentable during the duration of the showcase.
• Students MUST attend classes - you are NOT excused for this event - your judging will not happen while you are gone.
• You MUST register to set up a booth.
• No part of your display may be above the eight (8') exhibit height. Walking aisles may not be used as exhibit space or for seating. Must stay within the 8' x 8' x 8' booth diminsions.
• Promotional materials of any kind, models, and/or enticements must be kept to your assigned spaces.
• If your booth has any electrical components to it, please get in-person approval from Carey Keller. Her office is located in Deets Library.
• Any live or recorded music played in your exibit may be subject to laws that govern the use of copyrighted music so please make sure you are following these laws. If you want royalty-free music, check here: https://stockmusic.net/

Come and speak with Jessica Falk with Cowley County Economic Development Partnership about your business and booth idea. She will set you up for success for Friday's event.

 Lessons From Leaders - TUESDAY & THURSDAY EVENT

•  Registration - In your business classes - First 20 who sign up will get to come to this event!

• Time - 12:00-12:45pm

• Location - Pounds Lounge

Sign up in your business classes and meet us in the Pounds Lounge for this wonderful chance to hear from 2 Alumni about their journey from SC to being business owners. Grab your lunch in the Cafeteria and then join us at Noon for this opportunity!

SC HS Entrepreneurship Day - WEDNESDAY EVENT

 

• High School Event - Welcome them to campus!

• Date - Wednesday, TBD

• Time - 8:00am-3:30pm

• Location - Deets Library

High school students from 5 area schools come together to participate in this entrepreneurial event. If you see them around, please give them a warm SC welcome!
