The Southwestern Music Department will be presenting a night of Contemporary Pop and musical theatre in one concert entitled Free at Last!, Friday, November 20, at 7:00PM in Messenger Recital Hall. The concert will feature the SC Musical Theatre Ensemble, Broadway Builders, and the SC Singers.  This is the second concert by the newly-restructured and reorganized SC Singers. The concert will feature songs regarding freedom, in line with this year’s pillar goals at SC.  Songs from the musicals Into the Woods, The Producers, Parade, Newsies, and more.  It will also feature contemporary pop hits such as Mary Did You Know, Viva La Vida, and other famous Pentatonix arrangements. This will surely be a night featuring the growth of all SC vocal students over the course of this year, with powerful belting, beat-boxing, and tight harmony!  Admission is free.
