Enrollment Procedure
- A complete Enrollment Packet (PDF) must be filled out and turned in to the Director. The Enrollment Packet includes:
- Enrollment Application
- Health Assessment Form
- Permission Form for Off-Premise Trips
- Permission To Participate in SC Learning Center
- Your Child Form
- Emergency Authorization Form
- Behavior Management and Discipline Policy
- Payment Schedule
- Photo and Video Release Form
- Child and Adult Care Food Program Form
- Download and read the appropriate Parent Handbook. Then sign and turn in the agreement (found on the final page) to the Director.
- Schedule a tour and individual meeting with the Director (Kelsie.Barnhart@sckans.edu or 620-402-6470).
Parents are asked to inform the Director of any address changes or home/work phone number changes as they occur.
Children may continue in the program each year that they are eligible by age. Parents of eligible children are given an opportunity each spring to indicate in continued enrollment for the following year. If a family wishes to terminate enrollment, a two-week written notice is required.
SCLC Pricing Rates - Spring 2025
Tee Builders and Little Builders (3 years to 5 years old)
- Full-time Rate = $160 per week
- Daily Rate, Full day (part-time attendance) =$40 per day
- Morning Part-time Rate = $105 per week - includes breakfast and lunch
- Afternoon Part-time Rate = $95 per week - includes snack
Mind Builder (School Aged)
- Afterschool Weekly Rate = $90 per week
- Daily Afterschool Rate (part-time attendance) = $25 per day
- Summer Weekly Rate = $145 per week
- Summer Daily Rate (part-time attendance) = $35 per day
- ½ Day Part-time Rate = $85 per week
2nd Child Discount
(The discount is applied to the younger child.)
- Part-time student enrollment = $5 off
- Full-time student enrollment = $10 off
Southwestern College Employee Discount
- Part-time student enrollment = $5 off per week
- Full-time student enrollment = $15 off per week
Only one discount can be applied. We will credit the higher dollar amount.
Holidays can be refunded by using a Reimbursement Day. For the weeks that contain a holiday, invoicing will be for a full week. The exceptions are Thanksgiving Break and Christmas break - where there will be no charge.
Each student will receive 10 Reimbursement Days on July 1. They can be used to credit holidays, sick days, snow days, or vacation days. They do not roll over. They are paid at the same rate as a student is being charged.
