ATI Launch
ATI Launch: Nursing Academic Readiness certificate of completion is required.
A six-module program must be completed prior to beginning the nursing program to assist in student onboarding. You will receive a link and instructions once admitted to the program.

Nursing Uniform Bundle Order
During clinical/lab/simulation experiences, all nursing students are required to wear SC scrubs unless otherwise instructed. You can order uniform bundles through the form below. Bundle cost is added to your student bill. (After the initial bundle order, individual pieces can be ordered through the Nursing Office.)
Uniform is a purple (grape), scrub top with the Southwestern College Division of Nursing logo embroidered on the left chest, and gray pants. Scrub bundles with two tops/two pants/ jacket and logos will be ordered through the Nursing Division on admission to the nursing program for student purchase. Special needs based upon cultural or religious affiliation will be addressed as needed. A professional appearance is to be maintained. Students may not wear Southwestern logo scrubs, lab coats, name badges or any other Southwestern identification when employed by a healthcare organization.

Participation in our Jinx Student Nurse Organization (JSNO) expands opportunities for professional growth, networking, and hands-on learning. JSNO is connected to the National Student Nurse Association. JSNO welcomes pre-nursing and nursing students promoting a peer mentor relationship throughout the nursing student community. Students coming to SC have an immediate collaborative network supporting the nursing journey. JSNO fosters a sense of community within the program, allows students to collaborate with peers outside of their immediate cohort, and helps them stay updated on industry trends through the development of a network.
