Educational Philosophy
I enjoy teaching physics at Southwestern for several reasons. Probably the most important reason is the relatively small size of the classes. Small classes provide me with the opportunity to become better acquainted with each of my students. I'm able to learn their names and give them the personal help they sometimes need. Another reason I like teaching at Southwestern is the school's commitment to excellence in teaching. Faculty members engage in research here at Southwestern but research isn't the main reason they are here. I'm here primarily because I love to teach physics to young people and Southwestern provides me with that opportunity.Classes Taught
