Applying at Southwestern College is as easy as 1) Application 2) Pay the application fee; 3) Submit your official transcripts; 4) Submit your admissions essay
1) Fill out the application
Your application for admission is your application for scholarships.
2) Pay the Application Fee
The SC application fee is $25 and is non-refundable. You may mail or deliver a check or money order made out to Southwestern College. Fee waivers are available for students that have an official campus visit.
3) Submit your Official Transcript
Submit an official transcript from each college or university you have attended. If you have less than 24 college credit hours, you will need to provide an official high school transcript containing your class rank, grade point average and graduation date. If your ACT and/or SAT scores are not on your high school transcript, you will need to provide an official copy of your ACT and/or SAT scores.
4) Submit your Essay
An essay telling about yourself, your plans for the future, and how attending Southwestern College will help you achieve your goals. Essays are evaluated for content, style, and grammar and should be long enough to sufficiently develop the idea(s) presented. Double-spaced typewritten are preferred.
