Service Projects
Southwestern College’s Enactus Team engages in projects that further our commitment to developing community outreach projects which help transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable future.
In 2014, the Enactus Team was awarded four project partner grants to support our community service projects from Enactus USA. Southwestern College’s Enactus Team, along with our project sponsors, will execute these projects with community partners in our area.

Our team will design and implement scalable solutions to increase recycling at U.S. restaurants, bars, and other on-premise businesses. The Southwestern College’s Enactus team will be working with local area restaurants and the city’s recycling program to achieve this project’s outcomes.

Enactus teams empower women through collaborating with a community-based organization. The Southwestern College’s Enactus team will be working with Eagles Nest; a woman’s based organization located in Winfield, Kansas.
Sam's Club Step Up for Small Business

Our team will mentor and improve the fundamental business practices of small businesses in the United States for long-term sustainability and success. The Southwestern College’s Enactus team will be working with The Barns at Timber Creek to help develop and maintain fundamental business practices to improve revenues, decrease expenses, and create more jobs in the area.
