E-Waste Recycling Event Scheduled for February 5

The Southwestern College Green Team will collaborate with the City of Winfield and Grace United Methodist Church for an e-waste recycling event from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Barn #4 at the Winfield Fairgrounds. More details will be released in January.

“If you are fortunate enough to receive new electronics for Christmas, please don’t pitch the old ones,” says Green Team director Jason Speegle.  “Put them in a safe place until Feb. 5 and then bring them to the 2019 e-waste recycling event in Winfield.”

For questions about recycling, please contact Speegle at (620) 229-6311 or by email at jason.speegle@sckans.edu.
