Student Enrollment Checklist

Completing this checklist of items will make your transition to being a student at Southwestern College as smooth as possible.  Download it below:

Before You Arrive

View the tutorial on how to navigate Self-Service and view your account balance and financial aid.

View the "Paying Your Account" website for helpful information on your student account.

Order your books...

  • Book Information  (For help with ordering books contact Deets Library, 620-229-6225)


Registration and Move-in Dates and Times


  • Freshmen Registration (all freshmen) August 8, 9am-2pm | Mossman Hall
  • Freshmen Move-In (after registration) August 8, 9:30am-2pm | Assigned Residence 
  • Female students will check into Cole Hall and male students will check into Wallingford Hall.


  • There are two different days for transfer student registration/move-in. (See below)
  • Fall Sport Transfer Registration (for football, soccer, volleyball, cross country) August 11 | Registration @ Mossman Hall 2-3pm | Move-In 3-5pm
  • Spring Sport/Non-Athlete Transfer Registration (for athletes in spring sports and non-athletes) August 17 | Registration @ Mossman Hall Noon-4pm | Move-In 1-3pm
  • Transfer Orientation August 20 11am-Noon |  Deets Library
  • After completing the registration process, please proceed to your assigned residence hall.

Please note that the beds at Southwestern College are extra-long and not standard twin size.  You can order all of your campus living needs from our residence hall linens program website
