SC Singers

SC Singers (MUS 151D A & B) offers students the opportunity to study and perform contemporary a capella repertoire in an advanced ensemble setting. Members of this ensemble demonstrate a superior understanding of vocal technique and the musicianship skills necessary for the focused study and performance of this music. This ensemble gives special attention to the cultivation of advanced skills in arranging, musical independence, vocal percussion, and microphone technique. An auditioned ensemble whose membership comes from within A Capella Choir, students can take SC Singers for 0 or 1 credit hour.

Rehearsal schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00–5:15 p.m. in Messenger Hall.
