Upcoming Shows

Original student workshop written by SC student Elizabeth Santana

In 534 BCE, a young, ambitious woman named Omnipane hears about the new upcoming “tragedy contests,” where writers are encouraged to submit their tragic plays to be performed. Unfortunately for her, women are not allowed to enter. In a fit of rage and prayer, she calls for help to the Gods, hoping that one might hear her cries for help. One does – the fearless drunkard Dionysus. He takes pity on Omnipane, giving her the ability to enter the contests… by turning her into a man. Now, Omnipane must go undercover as a man named Anonymous, and navigate falling in love with a young woman while also wanting to turn back into her former self.
