Southwestern College Ranks in Top Three Kansas Institutions for Graduates Average Median Salary

According to the U.S. Department of Education, Southwestern College ranks third among Kansas institutions for median salary of their graduates 10 years after starting their college experience.  The U.S. Department of Education data can be found at collegescorecard.ed.gov.

The average median salary for a Southwestern College graduate 10 years after starting their college experience is $46,400. Only Baker University at $51,300 and the University of Kansas at $48,800 are ranked higher than Southwestern. SC graduates average earnings outperformed other universities and colleges throughout the state. Kansas State University ranked fourth and Mid-America Nazarene University ranked fifth in the comparison data.

Catabrean BaumannPhoto: Catabrean Baumann, a Class of 2019 graduate from Tulsa, Okla. received the Fran Jabara Leadership award at Commencement in May. Baumann has accepted a position with USD 465 and will begin her teaching career at Irving Elementary in Winfield next week. Baumann will teach kindergarten.
