Free Youth Mental Health Session on November 11

Brandon Murphy-Ward, a Southwestern College Leadership student, will host a youth mental health session, led by Arkansas City police chief Eric Burr, on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9-10 a.m., at Grace United Methodist Church in Winfield.  There is no admission charge to attend.

The session is intended for adults wanting to learn more about youth mental health and receive resources on how to handle a mental health situation.

Along with being police chief, Burr is active with Suicide Prevention of Cowley County as well as promoting Hope Squads in area schools.
