Because of my 12 years of world-wide experience in Marketing and Management training (United States, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, and England), I've become convinced that an international focus for students is necessary in order to function effectively as a business professional in our modern economy. New "quality management" processes such as, TQM and computer aided designs are converting management skills to becoming more scientific and international in scope. Whether in the sales training classes or those that employ microeconomic and macroeconomic analysis, actual opportunities for application, of what we learn in class, drive the educational agenda.

I love watching the stock market and professional sports especially football and baseball. The reason for my interest in these sports is simple; I lived and worked in Dallas and Los Angeles. Some of my favorite teams from these cities include the Dallas Cowboys, The Los Angeles Lakers, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. However, I keep hoping that the Kansas City Royals will return to their past glory. Also, you can't forget KU basketball and now their football team is doing great too.
I have worked in marketing for three Fortune 500 companies in Africa, Europe, South America, Hawaii, and Canada. I love to travel and meet new people. I also was the Marketing Consultant for Mossman Guitars in the 1970s. My wife was the Marketing Director at the time we were both involved in the companies operations for a long time. My best friend Stuart Mossman was the owner of the company. If you would like to read more history about Mossman Guitars read it here.
My wife runs a small business creating greeting cards for distribution all over the country through stores in 20 different locations. This business and our beautiful grandchildren keep us all very busy.
Feel free to send me an e-mail or give me a phone call if you have any questions or if you just want to chat about anything in the business world.
