Message from the Head of the Psychology Program
Welcome current students, future students, and alumni! We are well into Fall of 2014. We are excited to have more changes in the psychology program. We have revamped our course requirements and are adding a lot more options for classes. We are currently teaching a community psychology, marriage and family therapy and industrial/organizational psychology course. In the spring we will be offering a few new courses as well, psychology of health and illness, psychology of women and forensic psychology. We are also excited to welcome our one year, full-time visiting psychologist Dr. Shoshana Wernick. She is a great addition to our program. More changes will come next year when we hire a full-time, tenure track professor. There are five seniors working on senior projects and will hopefully be presenting in Wichita in May. We are excited to have our research conference in Wichita this year so that all of our students can have a chance to attend. Finally, the psychology program is welcoming a new adjunct, Michelle Knoles. Check our events page for all upcoming events and Go Builders!
