South Kansas Symphony Student Concert

The student musicians of the South Kansas Symphony will offer their first performance of the year on Friday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m., in Richardson Performing Arts Center. Southwestern College's Chamber Orchestra and Williams Quartet will be featured in "The Haunting of RPAC" performance. This concert is free with a canned good donation. Donations will go to the Winfield Food Bank. Seating is limited to ensure social distancing and masks are required. The performance will also be live-streamed on the "Performing Arts at Southwestern College" Facebook page.

Students will be performing a movement from Bloch's “Concerto Grosso” for string orchestra and piano obbligato, Meyers' “Ghosts of Brandenburg,” “Tamburetta” by Jarzebski, a selection from Mozart's “Piano Quartet in g minor,” and Telemann's “La Putain Overture.”

Due to COVID-19 all performances are tentative and subject to change.
