Electives

Music Theory classes will be determined by a short placement exam submitted with enrollment information. This placement will determine student groups. Students will choose their electives. Sample elective choices are ukulele, drumming, hula, intro to music therapy, fiddling, guitar, and bagpipe. Specials will include faculty and guest artist performances and masterclasses, and community-building activities.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals of large and small ensembles and foundational music classes using skill-appropriate repertoire and curriculum will help participants develop their aural and instrumental skills and technique while nurturing personal development of interpersonal skills through student collaboration.
