Returning Fall Athletes Check-in | Thursday, August 7
8:00 am - 4:00 pm - by appointment - (including Cheer/Dance, Cross Country, Football, Soccer, Volleyball)
Returning Non-Athletes & Spring Athletes Check-in | Saturday, August 16
8:00 am - noon - by appointment - (including Basketball, Baseball, Flag Football, Golf, Softball, Tennis, Track)
Mossman Hall (#26 on the campus map) Additional parking can be found behind Mossman Hall and Beech Science Center (#26 and #27 on the campus map)
Assigned Check-in Appointment | Each student will be assigned a designated check-in day and time, including off campus students. In early July, students will be sent an email with their individual check-in times and details. If you do not receive your notification, or if you have questions or conflicts with your check-in appointment, please contact the Office of Student Affairs at claire.nichols@sckans.edu.
Complete this Process Before Check-In
We encourage you to finalize your paperwork during regular business hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Items to complete before check-in:
- Verify your Self-Service account (passwords were changed following an upgrade this summer - view login instructions here)
- Apply for housing
- Complete financial aid AND/OR set up direct deposit
- Pay balance due OR set up a payment plan
- Create Authorized Payer Access
- Complete Financial Responsibility Agreement

What to expect at Moundbuilder Check-In
Financial Aid/Payment Plans: If you have an account balance you will be directed to the financial aid and student accounts areas.
You will need to pay your balance in full, have financial aid in place to cover your full balance or set up a payment plan before the first day of class, Monday August 18th.

Get your ID card (if you have lost your ID card, make a replacement ID request before you arrive)
Parking permit. You will need your license plate number, make and model of your vehicle. (There is no cost for permit/parking)
Your schedule: You will receive a copy of your schedule.
Meet the Student Success Team to schedule appointments to discuss disability accommodations, tutoring, or probationary status support.
Athletes: Finalize athletic pre-participation paperwork. All insurance information should be sent prior to arriving, or have all insurance paperwork with you when you arrive. If you get your physical before arriving, that will help you speed things up as we won't offer physicals on campus.

Residential Student Move-in: Immediately following Check-In residential students will move-in at assigned residence halls.
What to Expect at Moundbuilder Move-In
Students must go through check-in in Mossman first, before coming to their assigned residence halls for move-in.
Broadhurst, Sutton, and Winfield Hall: please pull up behind the building and check in with staff in the lobby before moving items into your room.
Reid Hall and Warren Apartments: Please find a parking spot close to the building and check in with staff before moving items into your room. Warren check-in will be in the laundry room in the center of the building. Reid check-in will be in the first floor lobby in the center of the building.
We will have a few dollies and carts to help with unloading cars but parents are encouraged to bring dollies if they have them.
