Jackson Lashier is the Assistant Professor of Religion at Southwestern College. He holds a B.A. in English from Iowa State University (2000), a M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary (2005), and a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Marquette University (2011). Dr. Lashier has been trained in and is equipped to teach in all of the theological disciplines. He specializes in the theology and history of the Patristic era, notably the development of Trinitarian theology. He has a passion for connecting the historic doctrines of the church to everyday lives of Christians. He has published articles in Vigiliae Christianae and Greek Orthodox Theological Review. His wife, Julie, is a chaplain at Cumbernauld Village and works with the Discipleship program. They have two girls, Ruthie (5) and Rachel (2). He also loves the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers.
