RETURNING STUDENTS HOUSING SIGN-UPS FOR 2020 - 2021

Return to the Same Room Application – Due March 6th (Friday before spring break)

Apply at: www.sckans.edu/sameroom  

If you are interested in returning to the same room, this is the application for you…or if you are living with someone who is returning to the same room!

Cole and Wallingford cannot return to the same room.

All roommates must complete this form.  You may select new roommates, as long as one person is a returner.

 

Private Room Application – Due March 20th (Friday after spring break)

Apply at: www.sckans.edu/privateroom (this form will go live next week)

Private rooms are LIMITED and are usually filled with juniors and seniors.  Placement will be determined by credit hours and GPA. 

Confirmations will be delivered through e-mail by March 27th

 

Priority Application – Due Sunday April 5th

Apply at: www.sckans.edu/changehousing

If you are not returning to the same room or are not placed in a private room, this is the application for you!

Priority will be determined by an average of roommates credit hours and GPAs.  Confirmations will start going out through e-mail April 17th

This application will stay open past April 5th but priority is given to those turned in by the 5th!

 

Off-campus Application – Due Sunday April 5th

All full time main campus students must reside on campus unless 20 AND a junior by the first day of class, married, veteran, or reside exclusively at the permanent, primary parent/guardian’s residence within 50 driving miles of SC. This will change to 21 and a senior in fall of 2021.

Students living off-campus may be subject to a financial aid adjustment.  Please visit with Financial Aid!

Residential Facility Information
All residence halls and apartments are furnished with beds, dressers, and desks for the default capacity of the room.  College furniture is not to be moved and the college does not store furniture. Students are allowed to bring additional living room furnishings if they wish.


Apartments

WARREN: Two bedroom town homes with kitchen and 1 ½ baths, housing up to 4 students.Meal plan optional, open during semester breaks and available for summer occupancy. See pictures in the Residence Life Handbook PDF.

HONOR: One bedroom apartment with kitchen and 1 bathroom, housing up to 2 students. Meal plan optional, open during semester breaks and available for summer occupancy. See pictures in the Residence Life Handbook PDF.


Suites

REID: Studio (one student/private bathroom), one bedroom (up to 2 students), and two bedroom (up to 4 students) suites, 1 bathroom, no kitchen*. Meal plan required. Closed during semester breaks. *Suites without kitchens are not allowed any kitchen appliances with heating elements, except for coffee pots with automatic shut offs. Residence Halls

BROADHURST: Co-ed living for upperclassmen and transfers. Private and double rooms.  Bathroom shared between two rooms. Meal plan required. Community kitchen available. Closed during semester breaks. See pictures in the Residence Life Handbook PDF.

COLE: Housing for first-year women. Meal plan required. Closed during semester breaks. See pictures in the Residence Life Handbook PDF.
