Student Ambassadors help the Admissions office with numerous tasks. Their main priority is giving campus tours to prospective students and families. When they don't have campus tours, ambassadors work at the front desk of Admissions: answering phones, greeting visitors, putting data into the computer, helping with mailing projects, filing, etc. Ambassadors work anywhere from 2-5 hours a week, with the option to pick up extra shifts for other students. Job Description

For the camps and conferences assistant, the student worker will check to make sure all the dorm rooms have adequate furniture and the rooms are clean. Students will complete the resident hall walk-through before and after each camp/conference with the director of camps & conferences to assure rooms are ready for camp. At the close of camp do walk through with the camp coordinator to do room checks and/or damage assessment. Assist director with evening activities during the SC Summer Programs each night the campers are doing an activity.  Assist with check-in and check-out of camp attendees when needed.  Assist director of camps & conferences with other details or task as needed. 

For the RPAC assistant, the student will provide logistical, technician, and customer service to Richardson Performing Arts Center and its customers to ensure successful events. The student worker will assist the RPAC manager with lighting, sound, and stage needs for rehearsals and performances in RPAC facility. They will also assist the RPAC manager with equipment inventory and checkout with other areas on campus.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:  Social Media and website updates, light clerical, data entry, assist with group activities and events, preparing mailings, other administrative duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:  Familiarity with office equipment, good computer skills, excellent communication skills and detail-oriented, willingness to tackle new projects, flexible schedule, ability to meet public well. Student must be Work Study Eligible to apply.

Skill development areas:  listening, customer service, time management, communication, multi-tasking.
